Thank you for visiting FHRC’s Action Center. In this section, you will find various current initiatives focused on advancing Human Rights in Cuba and how YOU can support them.

Under the current regime, prisoners of conscience, Human Rights activists, and their families, are often barred from employment. The FHRC is committed to providing the necessary aid and provisions to these individuals in order to support and maintain activism in Cuba, which is crucial in countering the regime’s tactics of political intimidation and repression.

In addition to supporting individuals’ basic needs, FHRC also seeks to enhance Cuba’s Civil Society by providing information and communication technology. Independent Civil Society members lack even the most basic tools required to promote democracy or sustain their campaigns.

To address this barrier, FHRC provides activist groups with training, campaign materials, basic supplies, and communication equipment. This equipment helps activist campaigns run more effectively and enables clearer lines of communication on, off, and throughout the Island.
