Jose Daniel Ferrer Reports Over 55 Detentions in Eastern Cuba

Through a conversation with Jose Daniel Ferrer yesterday, FHRC received a report from Jose Daniel Ferrer regarding human rights activists detained in the eastern provinces of Cuba prior to the Pope’s visit.

The names of at least 59 of the activists detained in the Eastern provinces and any applicable information as per recording from Jose Daniel Ferrer, are as follows:

Juan Carlos Vázquez Osoria (UNPACU), Moa, Holguín, since last Tuesday

Milagros Leiva Ramírez (Dama de Blanco), since Wednesday

Agnis Sarrión Romero, since Wednesday

Maritza Cardosa Romero, since Wednesday
